Kachaghakaberd Bridge, Artsakh

Construction of bridge in Kachaghakaberd, Artsakh will begin early May. Armenia Nature Fund and AHA Armenia, serving Armenia and Artsakh.

Mamrot Kar Bridge (“Zontikner”), Artsakh

After completing two bridges in Hunot gorge, Artsakh, Armenia Nature Fund and AHA Armenia decided to construct the second bridge near Mamrot Kar. This bridge connects the waterfall to the trail heading to Karintak. Due to the specific location of the bridge, environmental construction overview needs to be implemented. In 2019, after final discussions and organizing, Armenia Nature Fund and AHA Armenia will implement the construction works in close collaboration with local administrative bodies. Learn more

Building and Marking of Hiking Trails in Lori

(Lori Region, Armenia) In October, 2017 AHA Armenia signed a contract with UNDP Armenia. The project within this contract was to explore, scout, design, build, and mark 47.2 km of hiking trails in Lori. The trail building projects were accomplished and completed in July, 2018. The trail now connects Akhtala, Neghots, Tsaghkashat, Haghpat, Sanahin, Akner, Odzun, Horomay, and Kobayr. Building Hiking Trail in Gegharkunik and Vayots Dzor

(Vayots Dzor Region, Armenia) (Part of the Armenian Highland Trail) In accordance with the contract signed between AHA Armenia and World Vision International, AHA Armenia has built and marked more than 50 km of trails in Geharkunik and Vayots Dzor. In the Gegharkunik region, the trails pass through Chambarak, Getik, Mnatsavan, Aygut, Dprabak, Kalavan, Artabuynk, and Shatin villages.

Kalavan Bridge

Kalavan bridge was completed in 2018 as part of the Armenian Highland trail in the Gegharkunik region.
